Arcetyp LLC is looking for a Software Engineer II. The candidate needs to be Secret Clearance Eligible. The candidate needs to be able to work on a W2 basis, full-time only, which will be located on-site in Moorestown, New Jersey.

Arcetyp LLC is seeking a Software Engineer II to join our client's winning team. Our client is a proven, employee-focused provider of mission-critical information systems and technical support services to government and private sector organizations worldwide. They support a wide range of professional information technology (IT), intelligence services, including acquisition, procurement, financial, international, and foreign military sales support services for the Department of Defense.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Software Engineer II will support the client's Technical Representative's IT/Cybersecurity Division by developing and maintaining secure software solutions for Navy IT systems. This role involves applying advanced software engineering principles and cybersecurity measures to enhance system functionality and compliance within a classified environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, implement, and maintain software solutions to enhance cybersecurity defenses and operational effectiveness of Command IT systems.
• Apply modern software development methodologies such as Agile, DevOps/DevSecOps in the design and development of software applications.
• Analyze and interpret complex data sets to make recommendations to government stakeholders, helping define the nature and scope of IT and cybersecurity issues.
• Prepare detailed reports and present findings to government officials, offering solutions and strategies to improve IT system efficiencies and security.
• Participate in the maintenance and enforcement of cybersecurity policies and procedures across all Command IT systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering or Mathematics (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems).
• More than 1 year of professional experience in software engineering, with a preference for 3 years of direct experience.
• Demonstrated experience with programming concepts and software development methodologies in a professional or academic setting.
• Desired certification in at least one of the following: CCNA-Security, CySA , GICSP, GSEC, Security CE, CND, SSCP.
• Agile Developer certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification is highly desirable.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI or similar tools to implement projects/tasks.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• This position requires the candidate to be on-site in Moorestown, NJ.
• Candidates must be eligible for a Secret security clearance.
• This role involves critical tasks such as system analysis, problem-solving, and implementation of effective cybersecurity measures aligned with Navy protocols.
